Riseo ("we", "us", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Riseo is designed to work with minimal data collection. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

• Alarm & Mission Data: Your wake time, selected alarm days, mission preferences, streak data, and app settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and we do not have access to it.
• Camera Access: If you choose a photo-based mission (e.g., "Make Your Bed" or "Object Hunt"), the app requests camera access solely to verify mission completion. Photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
• Subscription Data: In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier to verify your subscription. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
• Alarm Scheduling: Alarm schedules are managed by Apple's AlarmKit framework and stored on your device by the operating system. We do not transmit alarm data to any server.
• Notification Permissions: We request notification permissions to deliver alarm-related reminders. Notification tokens are not collected or stored by us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• No personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
• No location or GPS data
• No contacts or address book access
• No advertising or tracking identifiers (IDFA)
• No analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
• No health or biometric data
• No browsing history or cookies

3. How We Use Information

The limited data processed by Riseo is used solely to provide the app's core functionality:

• Scheduling and triggering alarm notifications at your chosen times
• Displaying your streak and mission progress
• Verifying subscription status to unlock premium features
• Processing camera images on-device for mission verification

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties. The only data shared with third-party services is:

• Apple: In-app purchase transactions and AlarmKit scheduling are handled by Apple's systems under Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: An anonymous identifier is shared with RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

All app data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed. We do not retain any data on external servers.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption). We do not transmit data over the internet, eliminating network-based security risks.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.

To manage or cancel your subscription, visit Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Riseo is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information from any user, no special data collection concerns apply to younger users.

9. International Users

Riseo is available globally through the Apple App Store. Since all data is stored locally on your device, no data is transferred across borders by us. Apple and RevenueCat may process subscription-related data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
